科研领域描述
  实验室研究背景和方向: 本实验室以拟南芥为模式系统,研究表观遗传学信息如何影响基因表达以及植物生长发育,主要研究方向为DNA去甲基化途径和转座子对附近基因的表达调控。
  DNA甲基化修饰是一种重要的表观遗传学标志,在基因的表达调控,基因组的结构及稳定性,X染色体的失活和其它生长发育调控等方面都具有十分重要的作用。DNA甲基化的水平主要由甲基化和去甲基化这两个途经来协同调控。在植物体内,DNA去甲基化主要是由repressor of silencing 1 (ROS1)基因家族介导的碱基切除修复机制来实现。在植物中对DNA甲基化途经的研究已经比较深入,但是对DNA去甲基化的分子机制还不清楚。我们将运用遗传学,生物化学和细胞生物学的方法,对植物体内DNA去甲基化的酶学机制以及调控去甲基化的途经进行深入的研究。
